Garmin recently debuted the latest additions to their line of GPSMAP chartplotters and plotter/sonar combo units—the GPSMAP 742 and 942 touchscreen chartplotters, and the GPSMAP 1042xsv and 1242xsv keyed chartplotter. Available in a range of sizes from 7”-12” units, with built-in sonar options, the concept behind Garmin’s new units is to offer solutions to every boat owner, bringing premium features and the latest in chartplotting technology to budget-conscious customers.
The GPSMAP 742/942 series offers 7” and 9” sunlight-readable touchscreen chartplotters or combo units, with a 10Hz GPS/GLONASS receiver for smooth on-scree navigation. These units expanded on Garmin’s popular 7” touchscreen units that were introduced in 2010, offering larger screen sizes and the latest features. The 742 and 942 are equipped with wireless connectivity for the Garmin mobile APP, connectivity to the Garmin Marine Network for easy data transfer, and NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity for autopilot, VHF, digital switching and other sensors.
The GPSMAP 1042xsv/1242xsv series offers 10” and 12” options with a sunlight-readable screen and keypad interface. The Keypad features a multi-function rotary knob that allows easy menu navigation even in rough water, as well as hotkeys that can be programmed for quick access to the user’s favorite features. The 1042xsv and 1242xsv offer the above mentioned features and capabilities of the 742 and 792, and are also equipped with built-in CHIRP sonar, CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü.
Garmin’s new compact units offer a large range of solutions to boat owners and range from $799.99 to $1299.99.

The Reel Flooridian Fishing Team brought their beautiful Yellowfin Yacht to have a few things done.
One of the first things we did to the boat was to paint the twin Yamaha 300’s white to match the boat.
Then we printed and installed the new Reel Flooridian Fishing Teams Logo around the boat. With their team’s graphic, we were able to have it put onto SeaDek that the team wanted to have us install on 2 new white Yeti Coolers. The team also wanted to have us install a 30mm “Helm Pad” from SeaDek with their logo that turned out awesome!
Outside, underwater OceanLED lights were installed on the back of the boat for better fishing.
Finally, we installed 2 new Simrad NSS evo3 touchscreen’s that control all the electronics for the boat that also work as a Chartplotter, Fish Finder, and much more!

Repair and custom embroidery of bolster upholstery, 6mm teak SeaDek through entire boat, and 20mm Helm Pad with Everglades custom etching.
The upholstery around the gunwale of the boat was torn and needed to be replaced. We went the extra step and made sure that the Everglades name was presented as it was when the boat was brand new. The customer was very happy with our work and was very excited to put it in the water for a fun year ahead.

Airboats are fun! We have some boats ourselves that we have installed custom Seadek Non-Skid, waterproof speakers from Wetounds, and Ocean LED and Rigid Industry Lights just like on this customers boat. The customer here asked us to install a screaming and waterproof Wetsounds stereo so their friends can hear the music from across the state.
This airboat now has four 10″ speakers and four 8″ color changing Wetsounds speakers, a 10inch sub from Wetsounds, and 2 marine amps to power it all.
2 Rigid Industry square lights were installed around the fan cage as well as more LED lights under the gunwale and in the fan cage.
Music can now be controlled from a remote or a smart phone. Lights can also be controlled through a remote and a smart phone.

Add Detail to Your Boat with SeaDek Non-Skid Surfacing
Add Safe Non-Skid Surface from SeaDek at Our Shop
Custom SeaDek surface
This Stingray boat was brought in to us to have new speakers and head unit, Seadek surface installed, and a professional detail. To install Seadek Non-Skid surface, we have to scan the entire boat with a special machine that is here at our shop. Then we go to the computer that puts the measurements into the software to have another machine custom CNC cut the surface padding to the dimensions previously measured. The Stingray text is also CNC’d along with the customers desired pattern. The boat was professionally detailed from head to toe, including all of the salt water barnicles on the boat. Once the cleaning was done, we carefully install the padding surface like a puzzle.
Once Seadek, the Kicker KMC10, and 6 new Kicker speakers were installed, we had a the detailer clean and buff the boat one more time to bring color back and remove scuffs for the customer.
