The Challenge
The Kawasaki KRX 1000 is a beast on the trails, but like many side-by-sides, it doesn’t come with the audio setup that serious riders demand. Our client wanted crystal-clear sound that could cut through engine noise, wind, and rough terrain—without compromising the vehicle’s rugged capabilities.

This Jeep Unlimited came into Next Level for a complete redesign of custom door panels, speakers, and a new subwoofer box with installation and lights. To run all the new electronics, a new Alpine Restyle touchscreen was installed which really took this Jeep to the “Next Level!!!!” The Jeep originally had custom door panels made for speakers that had a New England Patriots football team logo on the speaker grills. This time around we cleaned it up and made new Jeep brand logo design for the speaker grills. They look amazing with the LED backlit illumination.
In the ceiling of the Jeep Unlimited, we added new blue LED to match the rest of the speakers LED that completed the overall look of the vehicles new custom facelift. Also in the ceiling, we had new speakers installed at the B-Pillar for the rear passengers to enjoy, that are weather resistant if the owner decided to remove the roof for a fun day in the sun driving.
A new Alpine X409-WRA-JL 9-Inch Weather-Resistant Navigation System with Off-Road Mode was installed in the dash.

BUILT FOR THE OUTDOORS
The large, 9-inch screen has Capacitive Touch and a Swipe Graphical User Interface is optimized for in-vehicle smartphone use. The next-generation design makes the screen performance even faster.
The X409-WRA-JL has an IP53 rating against dust and water, for a weather-resistant dash system that’s built to handle the toughest outdoor elements. The high-visibility screen has been engineered to adjust to low or high sunlight for maximum clarity when driving.
This Alpine Restyle can control most of the electronics in and on the Jeep like the LED lights, the outside Rigid Industries lights, the new backup camera and forward facing bumper camera, plus much more. But because the subwoofers have their own Alpine amplifier, we gave the owner control of its output with a single bass nob that came with matching blue LED.

We added 6 new JL Audio Marine Speakers and a 10″ JL Audio Subwoofer with a 5channel 700.5 Amp to this 28′ Boston Whaler 280 Outrage called “Miller Time IV.” To play music through the speakers, we installed a Fusion unit that was placed inside the center console that also works with a Fusion marine unit under the Raymarine GPS screens for the driver to operate.
