Final awards are given out at a special ceremony held during the KnowledgeFest trade show and education conference. This year’s ceremony will take place on the last day of KnowledgeFest Las Vegas held at the Pairs Hotel & Convention Center February 3-5, 2023.
NORTH ANDOVER, MASS., October 30 ,2022 — The Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) announced the winners from the first phase of the 2023 Mobile Electronics Industry Awards. The announcement comes after industry nominees submitted videos describing their business or professions. Judges appointed by the association reviewed the videos and selected the winners, comprising the Top 50 Installers, Top 50 Retailers and Top 20 Sales Professionals. The complete list of winners is posted at the official Industry Awards website, meindustryawards.com.
Winners at this stage also qualify as semi-finalists the top honors of Retailer of the Year, Installer of the Year and Sales Pro of the year. Top 50 Installers award recipients are also entered to run for 2023 Trusted Tech, an award given to professional installers who excel more from an electronics standpoint than a design standpoint.
The next phase of the competition features voting by industry professionals and consumers to narrow the semifinalists list down to finalists. These categories are joined by other categories of which industry professionals vote to select top suppliers, reps and rep firms, distributors, and expeditors, as well as the new vendor support tech award. Voting will begin Thursday, November 3, 2023 and run until Sunday, November 13, 2022 at midnight.
“Even though the ultimate competition is ongoing, we want to take this opportunity to congratulate our Top 50 and Top 20 winners,” said Chris Cook, president of MEA. “These are major accomplishments in themselves and represent the hard work and growth of stores and individuals over the past year. It’s great to see that, despite the unprecedented events of the past few months, our industry members continue to strive to be the best and set examples for their peers.”

STOP 2 DETAILS
Stop 2 is right around the corner – June 5-6 at the Orlando Watersports Complex. We currently have 70 unique athletes competing (a handful are competing in more than one division); we’re expecting another 10-15 competitors to sign-up. Click here for the weekend’s schedule and see below for a few details to take action on/be aware as we head into the home stretch:
SWAG FOR ATHLETE BAGS: We’re seeking 125 units/item for athlete bags and will be building them out a few days prior to the event. If you’re local to Orlando, please drop them off at Nautiques of Orlando by June 1. If you need to ship them in, they should be sent to:

ON-SITE BRANDED MATERIALS:
If your brand is displaying on-site but no one will be attending the event, please send all on-site branded materials (e.g., whip flags, banners, tents, etc.), to Danny Amir via the above address or drop it off at Nautiques of Orlando before Friday, June 4.
PRE-EVENT SITE SET-UP: We’ll be getting all the tents placed and whip flags built on Friday before Stop 2 of Thigh High. So we can have a tight event site, please drop your tent off at Nautiques of Orlando before Friday (June 4) or drop it off during our event site set-up time on Friday around noon. If you’re dropping it off on Friday, swing around the lake to the event site and find Dano, Danny Harf or Joe Pace and they’ll get your tent checked-in, built and staked to the ground. If you’re unable to get your tent there until day-of — all good, just let us know.
DAY-OF SPONSORSHIP ACTIVATIONS: Athletes will begin checking in at 9AM on both days; please have your display space built and near final set-up by then.
COMMERCIALS: We’ll have multiple TVs on-site livestreaming the riders; if you didn’t send us a commercial for Stop 1 or have another you would like us to feature, send it to [email protected].
The Florida Marine Customs team “Next Level” sponsored and fished the Ed Dwyer’s Otherside Invitation 2021 tournament. This video shows the weigh-in of the fish that the guys brought in from the coast over the weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and our friends! In the month of October, Next Level was honored to be a sponsor in this years seasonal Gravel Tour wakeboard competition and the Stars and Pars charity golf tournament supporting Give Kids the World Village.
We were a raffle sponsor for this years 2019 Stars & Pars charity golf and gala at the exquisite Waldorf Astoria Resort Orlando on October, 25th. Posted up in our custom audio tent on the 1st hole, it was fun to watch everyone hit their driver off the tee box, short and far. Thank you again John for inviting us this year!
Give Kids The World Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort in Central Florida. There, children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations. This golf tournament started 7 years ago with a group of employees who raised $1500 for the charity. Over the years, Stars and Pars has raised a combined $1million in donations from across the country!!!!

Gravel Tour Final Stop
Saturday gave us another fun filled day out at the famous Orlando Watersports Complex for the final stop of the 2019 Gravel Tour presented by Performance Ski and Surf.
We appreciate everyone who came out and showed interest in Next Level at each event. To see our customers supporting charity events in Orlando, and the waterski community, it’s hard not to feel proud to support great causes with great leaders behind them.
This year was the first of hopefully many years to come, of the Thigh High Surf Series Wakesurf Contest.
